Pre-Launch: A Long Road

This was one of my first images from the space we would develop into Waterpocket Distillery®. It was an empty room. All we had done was indicate the layout of some items with tape.

This is before fire upgrades, TTB applications, conditional use permit applications or inspections, state applications, storage rack installation, and a thousand more things. There were pictures before this one...but this one represents the beginning for me. Our efforts to start the distillery go back farther in time but it started to get real with the space. When I drive around, I still look at buildings and say..."That place would be great for a distillery...I wonder what the zoning is."
