Minthe

Minthe finds it’s roots in a 19th century Milanese desert liqueur. Milan was an epicenter of distillation innovation, and a resident master distiller created this complex peppermint botanical spirit and claimed it as one of his favorites. We like that it brings peppermint back into a complex environment, with complementary flavors from angelica seed, cardamom, myrrh, hops, fresh orange peel, and more. Presented as an unsweetened base spirit for the innovative mixologist to explore the boundaries beyond gin.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Resinous mint and orange, cardamom spice, and a mild artemisian bitterness.

Flavor: Cardamom spice leaning towards sweet peppermint and bright herbaceous notes, with orange citrus on the finish.

Proof: Bottled at 45% Alcohol / 90 proof.
